Chicken creamy pasta Cheese Ingredients 1 tbsp olive oil. 1 boneless chicken thigh, skin removed, cut small squares.
3 rashers bacon,cut into small squares.3 garlic clove, crushed. salt and freshly ground black pepper. 250ml/9fl oz single cream. 125g/4½oz pasta bows, fettichini,or spaghetti cooked, according to packet instructions. Small cup full of freshly torn basil plus a little more for the garnish. 85g/3oz cheddar, grated, plus extra for garnish. Method to make the creamy chicken pasta Heat the olive oil in a frying pan with a cover. Add your chicken strips and bacon and cook for four minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Add the garlic to the chicken and cook for one minute. Season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper, add the cream and warm through so as not to curdle. Add the creamy sauce to the cooked, drained pasta and stir well. To serve, add the basil and cheddar, mix and spoon onto a serving plate. Garnish with extra grated cheese and basil leaves. Serves 4 persons A green lettuce and herb salad goes well and will refresh the pallet after the rich chicken and creamy pasta flavours.
