Ingredients

• 4 med size about 1 1/2 inch salmon fillets.

The Best Salmon Marinade.

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp cup virgin olive oil.

• 1 teaspoon sesame oil.

• 3 tablespoons soy sauce.

• 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar.

• 1 tablespoons honey.

• 2 teaspoons brown sugar.

• 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.

• 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, more or less for your taste.

• a pinch sea salt (optional).

a little fresh ground black pepper.

• 4 small shallots chopped.

• 2 cloves garlic, mashed.

• ½ a cup of fresh basel leaves for garnish.

Directions for this almost perfect grilled salmon meal

Place salmon fillets in a large resalable plastic bag.

Place into a medium size bowl all the rest of the ingredients.

Mix them all together completely, then pour the contents over the salmon and coat all sides of the salmon then replace them carefully into the plastic bag and reseal in the plastic bag.

Remove the air from the bag and seal tightly. Let the fillets marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.

After marinating the salmon overnight, place salmon fillets in a glass baking tray that has been lined with aluminium kitchen foil and sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Lay out your fillets with space between to lift and turn them over easily then pour over the remaining marinade over the salmon fillets.

. Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Serve on a bed of crispy lettuce and green leaf salad; garnish the plated with the basel leaves.
