Type 2 Diabetes is one of the results of the body's failure to produce sufficient insulin to manage the sugar in our blood stream.

Insulin is released by the pancreas to manage levels of sugar in the blood diabetic diets and special food recipes are not sufficient and your body requires medicine usually tablets or injections to stabilize the condition.

Today was my appointment with the new specialist diabetic practice nurse at my medical centre.

I have to say she had a refreshing  somewhat different approach to Type 2 diabetes, and the diabetes control treatments to control type 2diabetes.

Confirmation that my diabetic T2 Blood tests where still below that considered to be diabetic and my Type 2 diabetes is still in remission was news I expected.

The diabetes weight  works I did loose 20 lbs to control diabetes weight

My reversal program I managed to put together over 3 years ago now still works to keep my blood sugar levels in the normal range although I still keep trying different measures to tweak it so that I can have some small sugar foods without it affecting or spiking my sugar levels

I have to say that it does gets easier and easier as you get used to a healthier lifestyle.

I am into my third year of being free of the curse of diabetes and I have to say in retrospect I do not feel as though I have made any important sacrifices to achieve my reversal of T2diabetes.

I still enjoy many of my old foods but without the added carbs, all refined sugary foods are out except my Sunday dinner with homemade fruit crumble and ice cream is my weekly extra treat.

I did drink use to drink to many glasses of wine during the week which I did reduce to only 3 small glasses per week,but I have found I can increase this to 5 per week without it affecting BS levels

Fresh vegetables are so important as is the cooking method I have found that cooking veg in a steamer is the best method as it does not destroy any of the vegetables precious vitamins,trace elements or nutrients the crunchy veg retain their full fibre benefits,and they taste better.

I do eat far more fresh vegetables with my meals.and I have my own exercise program which helps burn off blood sugar energy and that take up to one hour each day.I try now to burn off more calories than I eat.

I honestly believe anyone can do the same with only a few diet changes cut out sugar and begin by walking briskly for an extra 15 minutes to start with and then increase it as you get fitter.

Discussion with the Practice Nurse

Karen said she had been a practice nurse for over 15 years specializing in Type 2 diabetes,and when I asked her about the new Swedish discovery of 4 separate classes of of diabetes she quickly retorted that there were in fact 5 type of diabetes but 4 of type 2 diabetes all requiring a different approach to treatments.

There are 2 serious classes that are very stubborn to react positively to treatments and 2 classes that react favorably to diabetes control treatments to lower blood sugar levels.

The question of how to control diabetes with just diet is not the only method to control type 2 diabetes you need also to burn off more energy with more physical exercise to balance what energy you use up what what energy the food you eat provides.

So you need a control diabetes program including a diabetes control diet along with an exercise program individually put together for your abilities.To control diabetes is not just a 28 day diabetes control it is a plan for a lifetime.

A different and more healthy lifestyle to includes all aspects of your daily to be a success for you it has to be do-able for the rest of your life.

My latest blood test confirm I am no longer a diabetic.

Yes I am now clear of type 2 diabetes,after paying out for some many bogus courses and diets from expensive diets to physical courses that left me hungry and exhausted.

I have developed my own method to reverse my diabetes and it costs zero.

I still have the same lifestyle,I enjoy my food and I still have a glass of something I enjoy.

I have had to change some things and I have cut back on others I used to pig out on.Has it been worth it.
.Damn right it has I am now free of that insidious degenerative killer decease.

First you cut all refined sugar,that what you spoon into your coffee.

Then you cut down slowly over months all sugary foods and drinks.

Of course you will need to start with a simple get started exercise program.

Walking is best to start,walk briskly for 20 minutes,then increase to 30 mins.

When you can walk briskly for One hour is the target and slightly out of breath.

It can take up to 12 months and its best to start beginning of the summer.

By the time you can walk for an hour briskly, cut out sugar your on the way.

Your diabetes control and control diabetes weight,(weight loss) will take effort.

Do it all slowly take your time It is said sugar is harder than cocaine to give up.

It is advisable before you start how to control diabetes to check with your doctor before you begin to ensure you are in good enough health to do so.

This condition is caused by the body not providing sufficient insulin or not using what it produces correctly. It accounts for around 90% of all diabetes sufferers.

Self care incorporates your own eating behavior and your own control every day to maintain an active and good level of physical and mental fitness, being aware of your own health and the care you must take to try to prevent illness or accidents.

Even minor injuries can involve further complications, in particular, examining your feet regularly to ensure even minor injuries do not go unnoticed.

Here is one true example of one man’s routine visit to his doctor and his examination which revealed he had a drawing pin embedded in one foot and the patient had been totally unaware of because had lost some feeling in his feet.

Frequent self examination is required when living with any long term conditions you can benefit enormously have less anxiety less pain or depression and have a better quality of life and be more active and independent.

Some people can tolerate a BMI of 40 or more without getting diabetes. Others cannot tolerate a BMI of 22 without diabetes appearing, as their bodies are set to function normally at a BMI of, say 19. This is especially so in people of South Asian ethnicity.

Newcastle Study University UK: 600 Calorie Diet

The Newcastle Study is also known as the 600 calorie diet

Extreme low-calorie diets, such as the 600 calorie diet studied by Newcastle University have been hailed as extremely effective in helping people with diabetes to control their blood glucose levels.

In some instances, reports of temporary diabetes cures have been reported from following an extreme low-calorie diet for a short period.
