Crockpot Beef Recipe:
Super Easy Crockpot Beef Roast.
This recipe is so easy and super delicious
4 lb. Tenderloin, topside or chuck.
75 cl bott deep red wine.
2 finely sliced onions.
1 tbsp. Worchester sauce.
1 bay leaf.
3 cups water
1tsp mixed herbs.
8 parsnips cut long.
During winter months, having a hot meal ready and waiting when you come home is the ultimate treat. The aroma of roast cooking provides that wonderful homely welcome for your family when they arrive to. you will have beef so tender it will be falling apart.
Heat olive oil in the crockpot or slow cookerlarge pan over a med to high heat.
Season the beef well with salt and fresh ground black pepper and rub well into the beef joint.
Sear the beef all over including both ends sealing in all the flavours until its brown all over,remove and set aside.
Add the water to the onion soup mix well in a bowl when conbined add to the cooker pot.
Add potato chunks, carrots, parsnips and mushrooms to the soup and water.
Stir gently then arrange the vegetables as a bed.
Place the beef roast on top of the vegetables and add onto the meat the mixed herbs.
Add the wine gently around the meat so as not to disturb the herbs on the meat
Fix the cover top and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until very tender.
