Crockpot Chicken with Cheesy Noodles,Herbs and Mixed Peppers

Choosing what cut of the chicken to use Cheap Easy and very Tasty meal is down to cost per person to eat.

I have chosen Chicken Thighs,you can use Chicken Breasts or the Drumsticks but usually the thigh or under leg is cheaper and to me has more flavour

A delicious winter’s evening meal and ready for when you arrive home tired and hungry for your ready for an easy already prepared meal.

1 8 ounce package noodles.

6 chicken thighs cut in half and leave in the bone.

1/2 cup diced celery.

1/2 cup diced red & green peppers.

1/2 cup diced onion.

6 ozs cut mushrooms.

1 4 ounce jar pimiento.

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

1 tub 300ml cottage cheese.

1 cup grated mild white cheese.

1 can 400grams cream of chicken soup.

1 small tin 220grams cup chicken broth.

2 tablespoon melted butter.

1/2 teaspoon mixed dried herbs.

Directions for this Crockpot Chicken Meal

Cook noodles in a separate pan according to the instructions on the packet and drain and rinse thoroughly.

Then into a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients with noodles and mix.

Pour mixture into greased (with the butter use it all) Crockpot.

Set the timer for 5 hours cover and cook on low heat.

Check and test the chicken is cooked completely if not put it back and cook for another hour.

Serves 6 or 4 with big appetites.
